Cere Network is pleased to announce a collaboration with Mars4, a play-to-earn metaverse and gaming ecosystem set on a virtual Mars. Mars4 combines the thrill of Mars exploration with revenue-generating NFTs.
Every user in Mars4 has the opportunity to explore and colonize a 3D replica of Mars. The play-to-earn game features highly realistic terrain that depicts Mars’ virtual topography using NASA data (much like a Google Earth map). Furthermore, the virtual reality platform enables users to buy plots of land, build on them, and monetize content.
Players can also earn passive income by participating in a one-of-a-kind revenue-generating Mars NFT. These NFTs represent individual land plots on Mars (99,888 in total) and generate revenue through the built-in token redistribution system. Aside from NFTs, players conduct transactions with the Mars token from the game.
Mars4 and Cere Network’s collaboration aims to provide NFT holders with a variety of mutual benefits. For example, Mars4 will give Cere users early access to ultra-rare and revenue-generating NFTs. Cere NFT owners will be able to monetize content and earn the Mars4 $Mars Token on the P2E gaming platform as well.
With Cere’s Freeport, NFT owners can store their NFT assets without relying on centralized ISPs (Internet Service Providers) or IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). This feature is a game-changer, as it provides Mars4 users with true ownership and SLA-backed access to the assets behind their NFTs.
“Cere (Freeport) truly adds another dimension to our metaverse, giving users full control over their assets, while giving our developers a turnkey toolset to mint NFTs and store the assets backed by the NFTs, allowing them to fully focus on building out the virtual Mars Metaverse, for users to truly own and terraform your land via the survival strategy game — experiencing the world as a Mars NFT landlord or as an adventurous astronaut. “
— Richard Berno, CEO at Mars4.
About Mars4
Mars4 is a Metaverse and P2E gaming ecosystem. Staged on a 3D virtual Mars, users can own and customize land, cultivate economies, and earn passive income from the world’s first revenue-generating NFT. These NFTs represent unique land plots that produce income from the in-game ecosystem. Consequently, the virtual reality platform gives players the option to terraform their land, build mining rigs, construct oxygen generators and more. Mars4 showcases the joys and challenges of Mars land ownership.
